What is the difference between GrandioSO, GrandioSO xtra and Grandio?
Grandio was the pioneering universal nano-hybrid composite in dentistry, offering a high fill rate that ensures excellent handling, aesthetics, and durability for both posterior and anterior applications. GrandioSO represents an advancement over Grandio, featuring an increased fill rate and engineered to be the most tooth-like composite available. Indicated for universal application, providing natural esthetics, exceptional shade matching, and superior longevity. GrandioSO x-tra is a bulk version of GrandioSO, specifically designed for posterior bulk-fill restorations, offering a 4mm depth of cure, excellent handling, and durability.
What are the physical properties of GrandioSO compared to natural tooth structure?
GrandioSO closely mimics the modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, and wear resistance of natural dentin and enamel, providing durable and esthetic restorations.
What, if any, are GrandioSO's contraindications?
GrandioSO should not be used if the prescribed application technique cannot be
employed or if there is a known allergy to any of its ingredients (methacrylates, BHT).
What are GrandioSO's specialized shades?
VOCO has introduced two specialized shades, A3.25 and A5, for GrandioSO. The A3.25 shade was developed to provide additional options within the shade range between A3 and A3.5, while the A5 shade was specifically designed to accommodate the increasing demand from geriatric patients for a darker A shade that aligns with their natural dentition. Furthermore, GrandioSO offers three opaque shades, a bleach shade, and an incisal shade.
